will conldstone be able to handle weapons/armour that decays over time or the number of times it is used? for example, a wooden shield would fall apart after being hit one time too many and youd have to get a new one.
Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, and I'm not bashing your idea or anything, cuz to each his own, but <outside comment>: I absolutely hate weapon/armor deterioration.

I'm not certain, but I think you could at least do this with weapons - link an event and a global variable to the weapon's "hit" and/or "miss" actions so that each time the weapon hits (or misses), the value of the global gets increased by one, and once the global exceeds a certain value, call an event which replaces, say, the "shiny sword" the player's been swinging with a "broken rusty sword."
I'm not sure how you could do this with armor, since I don't think it has a "when hit" action, but you could probably fake it somehow with enough creativity.
