Alignment

Is it possible to have creatures that do not attack a player? Also is it possible for creature to be on a certain "team" that will or will not attack other teams including the one the player is on?

If the CS team has any brains in thier heads(which I'm pretty sure they do, despite some fairly convincing evidence given to me by others), then there will be allignment. Heck, even realmz and exile(1,2,3, blades of) had alignment, and they are getting pretty old/outdated.

but how complex will the alignment system be?

will it be similar to that of EV where various things you do can affect ur status with a certain team?

Alignment will be based on events and global variables, so you control the sensitivity.

I imagine you could also have an event change a character's(NPC, monster, etc) alignment. For example, you walk up to some guy who is docile and ask him how to get to the Emerald city(Wizard of OZ), and he tells you. Then you sneak up behind him and steal his money, and the event says that he will change his alignment 10 seconds after the theft(when he notices) and attack you. Sound like that would be good for your game(s)?
