Have a fe questions about Coldstone

I found out about this game on a site and read all the features and I am very excited about this game and I have a few questions.

1. One of the main reasons I am getting coldstone is because I will be able to create my own music but I am sort of confused on how it works. Will a music maker be in the game or will I need some kind of music maker for the game and put it on the game itself or how exactly does this game work? If I need one where could I get one and how much does it cost?

2. Also like the question above will I need a movie maker just in case I want to add a few movies to my game?

Thanks in advance

Coldstone itself is just an RPG maker, that is, it takes the place of having to learn programming in order to develop a game. However, I don't believe it has features to develop movies or music, but, since it can use anything that quicktime supports (as a side note, does it support quicktime 5 stuff too?) you can use mp3s and mods etc for music and mpegs for video (or anything else quicktime supports). So you could a)be a bstrd and just dl something off the net and claim it as your own, or you could make something with some of the programs which were discussed in the other posts on this board (like "brice vs Am" or "what will I need to make my RPG"). Also, check the faq and update log for all of the features.

as a followup to the music questions here:

PlayerPro is the only MOD (a music format often used in games) editor that i know of for the Mac. It is easy to use, and a solid app. you can get professional sounding stuff out of this, if you use good enough samples. Shareware demo, relatively cheap at $70.00. available at: (url="http://"http://www.quadmation.com/")http://www.quadmation.com/(/url)

Hmm, I was just wondering about this whole quicktime thing. How far can we go? I mean, even quicktime 4 has Flash support. Does this mean that we can use flash vector animation for movies? I wonder because, If you can play movies while still in-game, you could use flash for rain or other weather effects superimposed with an alpha transperency over your regularly town map or whatever, which, I think, would be better for system requirements because, since it's vector based, the file size is way smaller and the graphics can be scaled to fit the whole screen so that your rain is superimposed over your maps. Also, if it has quicktime 5 support, does that mean that we can use flash 4 actionscripting, because that makes random weather effects even easier? Thanks in advance,

wow you are sort of confused huh ? This app has nothing to do with music , only in the aspect that it uses multi format music files,
