Do you know what I'd like to see?

A sequel to cythera. I really liked the aspect of making items to make money, it would be cool to have a game like that that leaned more twords making a living, with some action thrown in.

Now, explain to me why this is in this forum and not the cythera forum?

Perhaps to convey the idea of a possible feature that could be implemented in a Coldstone game?

Well, considering my computer is too old to run cuthera, and I've naver played it, I didn't know if that was the case. I take it cythera is an RPG of some kind?

Sorry, this is really off-topic here.

If ASW had solid plans for a sequel to Cythera, I'm fairly certain we'd have heard about it by now.

No, it's not off-topic -- I'm certain he meant making it with Coldstone.

I'd like to see more action on the Coldstone boards. Sure it may be hard since there is no product readily available and the developers are very tight-lipped and hard-pressed for any info on major features, but we should be able to do something.

If I were one of the big shots at ASW, I wouldn't even think of announcing an RPG made by coldstone (aside from PoG) until coldstone was at it's best.

I don't know about everyone esle, but I haven't been on the boards much because I've been loosing interest in coldstone to my MMORPG addiction.

MMORPG means "massive multiplayer online role playing game" which is really the only true kind of RPG, and also the most addicting 🙂 and example of mmorpg is Everquest

I wish I could shell out the $10 a month for that game...

Alas.

-A cythera MMORPG would be the best thing ever to come to mac! Cythera had a lot going for it, but it just had a bland, unaddictive feel to it. Letting all of us friendless computer-junkies use it for a social life would be great!

-Cythera seemed a little hollow. Coldstone would make it easy to fill in the wide gaps in adventuring and spell use; runes were almost useless and the number of things you could make was contrasted by the lack of things you could use them for.

-It would really be nice to see a smoother, graphicly enhanced version of cythera, like coldstone could make. Look at spiderweb software; if you've ever played exile, and it's 3D counterpart avernum, you'd know what a difference it makes.

-Cythera really lacked gameplay. Much of what made it a good RPG was the thinking part, and all of the mysteries and puzzles to solve. But a lot of it was obscure and hard to figure out, which made it a shame that there wasn't that much to do that served any real purpose.
