I think ColdStone should have multiple PC support because too much of the plotlines of all of my stories (And I think most other's stories.) would have to be sacraficed, for there could be no interaction between main characters on a regular basis; and there could be no major events and goings on between main characters. Why? Because there are no main 'characters' there is only a main 'character'. Sure, you can have the game focus on an NPC. But you can never truely feel for a character unless you play as him/her. But I would like to bring up something I want in my RPGs almost as much as that. I want the option of fighting battles where you have to choose what you do next from a list of choices (option battle) instead of running around and hitting the enemy, using the controls (action battle). I know I cannot ask the mods wether or not they would include these two options for they probably don't know themselves at the moment, but I can certenly beg and whine for them to do it! What's your thoughts? (Pointing to thin air thinking someone occupies that space.)

Well as far as the battle system question goes, I'm pretty sure that Andrew said somewhere that there would not be a choice... but it may be possible to fake an "option battle" through some creative event scripting.
Appearently, Stupid me did not have the adiquite knowladge to post the proper terms of game function on this board. Here are the following transelations for terms that I just made up myself for lack of a better word.
'option battle' is actually called 'turn based battle'
'action battle' is actually called 'real time battle'
P.S. OK so I'm a bad speller, I alwayse have been, so please don't object to it.

Well, if they include a "If...Then" statement in the programming "code" of the engine, you can do darn well anything. (And they probably will, what kind of code would be absent of logic functions?) When it comes to graphically-based engines like this, if you really want to do something, there are always ways to make it look like it's actually happening. (Show Picture commands are wonderful; make your FF-style menus in picture form, make them change at a keystroke, make those keystrokes enable logic functions, and you've got yourself a unique battle system!) I like the action RPG idea. Yay, no random battles! (I detest random battles with a passion!)

I know many people feel tht way. Which is why I said you should have the option of turn based battles, not that the game would be designed that way. I actually happen to like random battles myself, which is also something I would like the option of. Not meaning that you have to do it that way
