Beta testing is to be done carefully. The finished product will be much better that it's current condition, and I've been in numerous beta tests. There are likely to be major bugs in Coldstone right now, and you'd be much happier when it's released. The reason beta testers aren't allowed to talk about many of the main features is because that some features might be changed, improved, or deleted.
