This is not about Coldstone, but about this board.
If you have a question, look at the FAQ's FIRST , and if it isn't there, then ask your question. Most of this board is just newbie questions. This is not to blame, as Coldstone still isn't released. However, Andrew & Dee have set up an easy, simple FAQ for us, so use it. This has been said many times, but I want to make it clear again to eveyone who has a question.
This is quite important. It's so annoying to trudge through the same old questions that people can find out for themselves.
Sorry to be a nag.

I agree. Although the FAQ needs updating, it is still very good.

Of course, last time I read it, it still said Coldstone was still in development, and had not yet started beta testing

Yes, but it still holds many answers, and the same questions have been asked many times. But they do need updating, I agree. I'll pester sanehatter to pester Dee to pester Andrew to update the FAQ.
I know a few good emails to pester, but I do believe that it's the moderator's job to bug Andrew and Dee, as I don't see them checking the boards often themselves, and I don't think they want all of the board members bugging them. They probably know that the FAQ could use an update.

FWIW, if I'm in town, I check the boards at least once a day. I may not post, but I will read.
I would definately appreciate not being pestered to be asked to pester someone. I know the faqs need an update, but am in little better position to do anything about it than anyone else. I would have thought updating the faqs would have been a good thing to do before the macnn preview, so the hordes of newbies coming in with questions would have something accruate to consult.
Currently, if you want to get an idea as to the current state of Coldstone, you need to read the faq and the update logs. If your question isn't answered there, then anyone who knows can't answer it.

Yeah, I check the boards at least once a day, not always posting. btw, Andrew is in more places than you think....

Same here, check once or twice everyday, when I get home and if I haven't gone out, I check again around 10:00.

I understand with the frustration of rehashing old ideas and questions that can easily be accessing the FAQ, but you should not be so harsh or critical to those that post. Perhaps they do not fully understand it, need more details, or are asking if it has changed in any way. To conclude, this was a message board last time I checked, a place to ask questions and state your opinion. It's supposed to help people when they need it, and if you get tired of the same questions, simply don't read them or reply. By the way, many posts on this board are questions about coldstone. If you want to turn the topics perhaps we should liven up the board with new areas. ~Saphfire
