I'm going to add the new Zelda game, Majora's Mask, to my list. I'd say it's even better than Ocarina of Time, except that it's too short. Highly recommended for anyone who still has their N64.
It's unfortunate, though, that no one will be able to mimick its 'groundhog day' approach to game time without appearing to rip it off; one thing that has always bugged me about RPGs and Adventure games is the sort-of 'timeless urgency' that not having a direct time limit can create.

I hate to say it, wait a minute no I don't computer rpg's excluding a few generally leave you with blue balls and an empty feeling a league deep.
That is why I nominate (almost) the entire FF series ...

Right. I'd have to say
1. Realmz 2. Exile 3. Cythera
Realmz was what I expected of it, it had a good 'feel.' Exile had a really bad feel. To me I thought it was like Realmz but more boring. And I thought if Cythera was is 1st person it would have been much better.

Definitely, 1.Exile- this game is pure magic, i could stop playing it 2.Cythera- this title is quality, too bad the game world is so cramped 3.Realmz- this looked good at first, but the more i played it, the more i hated it, its just cheesy

OK lemme explain myself then, you see I am obsessed with the need for a well thought out game interface in a game, in my opinion, the button in the menus are unnecesarily big and goofy, Realmz just has a really tacky look about it, unlike Exile which is more down to earth, the Realmz world is painted in neon, darker more natural tones make a much more comfortable (and believable) playing environment for me, its ALL about asthetics........

I can understand that but I still like Realmz. Anyway, my RPG list would be:
1. DSA (Pen & Paper) 2. Diablo II 3. Baldur's Gate 4. Realmz 5. Diablo 6. Cythera (I 've just started playing it, I can't say too much abou it)
I don't have that many RPG's. I've never played Exile (to be honest I didn't know it exists :redface: ).
One question, is noone of you thinking of adding basilisks to his game, or do they count as some kind of dragon or such?

ok, I know this topic is really old but o well. my favorite rpgs are
1: Any Zelda(except 1 or 2) 2: Warcraft 2(would that be considered an rpg?) 3: Escape Velocity 4: Super Mario RPG 5: Quest 64(ok game but its battle system was awful) thats it cuz i haven't played many rpgs, but i don't like realmz or cythera and i haven't played exile

YOYOYO! Get jiggy down with Exile III. Exile III is simply The Best game that exists, existed, and/or will exist.
