Just wondering, however I am fully aware that this is a very hard feature to add it, I thought I would ask anyway.
You can place images as objects in the map editor, correct? Well, what about movies? That would allow for many cool effects and in-game cinemas. It would also probably make the game run real slow, and be terribly hard to add in, but I thought I would ask if it would be possible anyway.

you mean like a good movie of a waterfall and place it over you background to blend in? That'd be awesome. Hey, do realize (everyone) that the final version's not set in stone. Updates anyone? I'm SURE they will be atleast 10 just for bug fixes. I think its still a month to early to know this for sure.

You can place animations as well. Just create an animation and put your movie frames in it. Set the FPS and that's it (however, this can take a lot of memory).

Well I knew about placing animations, I was wondering about QT movies though (as they can be compressed rather quickly and take up a small amount of space). But, I suppose the animation system will work just fine.
