Graphics package

I used to use Infini-d in school to do graphics and found it to be a very powerful and easy to use program (which I had to figure out myself, and didn't use much anyway, so don't take my word for more than it's worth). So... I went to ebay and searched for it and it looks like you could pick one up REALLY cheap now that it no longer exists (we're talkin' shareware prices). Anyway, hope that's helpful for any aspiring coldstone modelers (But watch out... I might be bidding on one o' them myself)

I like Bryce. I've made a few landscape PICs with it so far. Unfortunately, I only have the demo. :frown:

I have found Bryce to be quite annoying as all the pictures end up looking cartoonish in a way no matter how much you work on it. I suggest World Construction Set 5 (for those few who can afford it) as it actually renders each blade of grass or each leaf on a tree without any extra modeling, instead of using texture maps like Bryce.
