what about application security?

im taking this example from my experience with Hypercard,
if you made a hypercard game and then distributed it, anyone who has the full version of hypercard (not just Hypercard player) and your game can edit it just as you were able to, does coldstone have a feature that locks out unauthorized editing of a game?

A fully featured RPG editor should be able to make uneditable games, it's pretty much expected.

I mean is completely compiled into a standalone with it's own file type, password protection, what ?

The way I understand it, the game would be compiled into a stand-alone application. Trying to edit it would be like trying to derive the source code for a program from the finished application. Totally impossible.
