The editor doesnt work with the demo, right? i cant get it to work

No. The reason why is that the MASCOT editor requires the backgrounds data from FW to work. Since the demo doesn't use all the backgrounds as the real version, it won't work proporly. Plus there are all the sprites and everything in the full version which can't be used in the demo, so the levels that you made whould be extremly limited. Just fork out 20 bucks for a great game.
