Plug-In Design:What needs to be done before releasing my plug-in?

First, you should put your plug-in through a testing period. This is an opportunity for people unfamiliar with your plug-in to offer you a neutral opinion, and also to find any bugs our inconsistencies that may exist.

After testing, a Read Me should be included with the plug-in. This Read Me should tell what the plug-in does, how to install it, and any other information about the plug-in that may be necessary. Most importantly, the name and contact information (especially eMail address) of the author should be included with the plug-in. Ambrosia cannot provide support for problems found with plug-ins, and will refer any people who have problems with a plug-in to the contact information contained in the Read Me.
