OK, so I was looking at the forms the other day and I heard that when you finish the game you get a cool level editor (hence the name "DreamOfMods"). I got very excited and messed up my game.txt file. I was on Pattern Buffer before, but after I changed the file the game had reset and now I'm on Garden! So, before I was playing Pattern Buffer and Receiver, but now Garden. Here is my messed up game.txt, I wanted to enable all the levels that were null:

Also, I have the files: mission_containment_enable.txt, mission_escort_escort.txt, mission_garden_liberate.txt, mission_generator_enable.txt, mission_mine_enable.txt, mission_pattern_buffer_recapture.txt, mission_receiver_recapture.txt, and mission_yard_enable.txt I haven't touched those. Is there any way to restore my progress?

I really shouldn't have done that! :mad: If there isn't a way to restore my game, I guess I deserve it. :unsure:

Don't re-encode anything. Also, there's a special profile called AccessAllAreas which will let you get to anywhere, including Temple so you can finish.

Also, in your preferences file, there's a line EnableModSystem = 0. Change that to 1. If it's not there, just put it in.

When ever you change anything in a game, almost everybody mentions that you should back up your data files, etc. This point is moot because of your current situation. Just take this warning into consideration.

On the subject of helping you return your game to it's original state, I believe prophile stated the answer.

Your best bet may be to check the Introversion forums. Pay special attention to the stickied posts at the top. You might also try reading the guides.
