how to do?
So, yeah.
I started playing darwinia on a 500mhz machine, ran into frame rate problems, and wanted to transfer it to a faster machine. I couldn't find any saved game files in the darwinia folder (or any files at all for that matter) so I just copied the whole whizbang to the new computer (1.5 ghz yay) but it started me over in the garden. Any idea of how I can transfer my saved progress so that the LGMs can continue to flourish under my enlightened leadership?
Enlightened leadership: sending them en masse into the heart of viral infestations, using officers to send them endlessly round and round a circle, etc.
Erm, it's standard practice on the Mac to not store user files in the application directory, so why would you expect to find them there?
Go look in ~/Library/Application Support/Darwinia/full/users. If you copy that whole folder over you should be fine.
SOrry, I used to huff glue in highshchool.
Thanks.
