Yes, how?
They seem to be immune to both, lasers and grenades. But they keep destroying all souls I actually want to collect and once I have Darwinians, they keep flying right through them and kill them.

Agent_Vast: battle cannons? That seems like a pain to do. I always just used level 2.0 grenades and shot at the head of the Soul Destroyers - to date I've killed 4 of them and they haven't sucked up a single soul. The trick is the rockets have to hit the head of the soul destroyer, and it has to be at about ground level. I generally go through 2 or 3 squads per Soul Destroyer, but it works pretty well.
Battle Cannons are definitely the way to go. Do it manually though, Darwinians aren't that smart and dont take advantage of the great range.
The problem with battle cannons are A) you have to move an armor over there, you have to move darwinians over there, and C) you're putting Darwinian souls at risk for destruction. By using squads I put no souls at risk and it's pretty fast and painless.
Battle cannons are the official mrxak-endorsed method of destroying the soul destroyers. You realize you can load up some Darwinians in them while they drive, right?
Or you can use squads with rockets and wait till the SDs land.
Make sure you clear out all the PTTODs and bugs around first, though.

You sicko... even Darwinians can't avoid being pestered with porn, can they?

mrxak, it worked, but give me a number of corrupted Darwinians and I'll blast your cannons to hell. I set up a cannon with the max number of darwinians nearby and it didn't even last for 10 seconds.
That's the problem, the darwinians operating the cannons are too vulnerable.
Why is activating the biosphere port a mission objective anyway? It's already open.
