Besides, some German company with a spine probably forced them into using their secret weapon - giving up their market and retreating Down Under.

Oh, and their influence hasn't penetrated the western hemisphere either.
Nor the eastern...well it did, but it got kicked out.

That's a shame.

Not really - now we come back to the "It's French" part of this discussion.
Sarcasm is much less effective in text.
'malo malo malo malo' in Latin means 'I'd rather be up an apple tree than a naughty boy in adversity.'
I always find that amusing.
Well, if French came from Latin, I think I can begin to see how it got messed up.
Laguna, I only noticed your comment about my sig... why am I wrong? You obviously don't know much about 'ignorance' if you can say that it isn't the greatest evil of our time.

No, ignorance.
Is your ignorance in why I think your sig is wrong evil?
Not necessarily. That might just be bad vibes from the rest of him.
This is so unimportant.

Unfortunately for your clever statement, there's a difference between 'ignorance' and 'not knowing'. For instance, it is ok not to know everything in the universe - that is simply not discovered. However it is not ok to willfully blind yourself to truth. THAT is ignorance. Now please correct your imperfect verbatim.

A very evil statement.
Actually, no. I can't rely on your statements as to whether or not you're evil - and I simply don't have the ability to discover if you are. I'm not blinding myself. And therefore, by your definition of evil, calling you evil isn't.
Now, what's interesting about your statement is that it allows you to accuse anyone who disagrees of being evil. Yet this means that you're selectively limiting your viewpoint. Or maybe I should say that you're "willfully blinding yourself to the truth."
I meant more to do with self-blinding of events that happen.

If I met you in person, I'd put you under citizens arrest for disturbing the peace.
