Chapter 3
RECEIVING ENCRYPTED TRANSMISSION ... DECODING ... ... ...
( 4 / 21 / 89 ) I returned to Saalia, the place where this all started. I also met my new first mate. Very stubborn. You could tell this was his first mission. His name was Kyle. I told him what we were supposed to do and a smile appeared across his face.
( 5 / 1 / 89 ) After many uninhabited systems, we finally started to see the ships I saw in the south. But I also saw ships that were the same design but... different. For instance the common half-circular ships that we saw. There were even large yellow ships and even larger blue ships. We continue north tomorrow.
( 5 / 2 / 89 ) We docked on a strange circular station called the Zanati Refinery. The people their told me that this was a simple work station. They told me they were the Miranu. Then they told me to visit Mira, their homeworld. I would get more answers there.
( 5 / 5 / 89 ) I went to the large bar on planet Mira. Kyle joined me for the celebratory drink. He marveled at the alien race in the large spaceport. He watched, what I learned to call them, the Miranu Couriers leave and the large Freighters docking. When we entered the bar however, we were greeted by a tall female Miranu. She told me she was the grand vizier. I watched her eye me over as I was the first she saw of my kind. She asked if we were interested in trade. I told her that we were, thinking of the Frontier Express and Stellar Corp. She rejoiced along with everyone who was eavesdropping. She then told me to deliver a message to my superiors.
( 5 / 13 / 80 ) I decided to go further North before returning back home. I found even more renegade problems. However, I learned that these renegades, though they were stronger, they were even more protected against. The Zachit made an impact on me. Their unity was unbelievable. Aliens from across the universe, people who had been shunned by their kind, even ex-renegades, all shared a sense of unity. And all of their pasts were forgotten as they were now a Zacha. The present was what counted. I vowed to return here as I made my journey home.

It was a long journey home. I met General Titan and told him of the Miranus offer. After several hours he told me to establish trading. He also told me to continue west. I also asked him about Ripper but he denied comment. I wonder why.

Ive made my way to Mira and the Grand Vizier is pleased. She shakes my hand to seal the deal and I feel prouder. Tomorrow I set off west.

To describe the last few weeks would be hard. Never have I seen a war as big as the Strand War. The three sides fighting for something that even they forgot the cause of. Across the skies, phase fire lit the skies. I was blown away by the speed of the Azdagari. Especially their Azdaras. Little green dragonflies swarming their enemies like nothing I had ever seen. I have also noticed the remarkable strength of the Igadzra. Even the elusiveness of the Zidagar amaze me. I could see that they were the most technologically advanced species in the universe. Only one secret eludes me. At the meeting point of the three strands was Gadzair. I know that I will find more answers there.

Machines unloaded the cargo. Looking around I saw no one. I wondered if the station was even inhabited. Every passage led in a circle to no where. No bar. Nothing. The only clue to life was that I noticed the center of the station was closed off except for a large locked door. To my dismay there is no answers. Since there is no place to stay Im leaving in a few hours.

I returned to Knox and told them everything. They were amazed at the advancements of the Strands. They even surpassed the Miranu. Gadzair still puzzled them however. They would find out later though. Right now I was on leave. I could do anything until they needed me again. I decided to visit Zachit again.
