Are newbies allowed to host again?

I've seen a couple of newbies hosting games, but wasn't sure if Ambrosia SW had just forgotten to cripple pop-pop for Windows users like they have for Mac users. It would be great if DEMO players could host again... Despite having registered myself (long ago), I think it would really breath new life into the barren and desolate online community.

AFAIR DEMO-Players can host only for a limited period of time. Later they are only able to join games!?

Have a look on the inofficial tourney-system: (url="http://"http://pop-pop.webhop.net")http://pop-pop.webhop.net(/url) 🙂

Yeah. It's too bad. It really discourages people, I think. Remember the days when there were hoards of little guys playing each other, and then there were the registered elites who everyone wanted to be? That was a better financial model for Ambrosia Software, in my opinion...

Maybe, and then again, maybe not. I probably would of never registered if I could still host without registering. 😃 The three minute cut off wasn't too bad, you just set it to two rounds.
