In the last hour and some change, I've played three Ns, one N+, two Ms and one M+ and one P+. Only the Ns and P+ were accurate. Quit giving yourselves so much credit you dolts! (Or thrawn, in your case give yourself more credit you sly devil.)

I set mine to P+ or P, depending on how good I'm playing at the current time. Once I played a guy at N+, and he was either a M or at least a P+.
Other times, I played a guy at M, and he should have been at N+ or P. (I'm not too sure about this, I might be getting two different games mixed up)

Hehe...I think I might but I'm planning on saving it until I either beat anklebiter or get really close to it. Until then, I'll stay at P+.

I consider myself an M, I win 99% of the games, but that remaining 1% can be a stickler. AAAPlayer and Granta could be candidate for M+

Hey, just remember that since the game is new, most of us aren't sure of our rankings yet. I set myself at N+, because I'm a newbie, but I have a decent idea of how to play the game, but I really have no idea where I am in relation to the rest of you.

ah, then im an M also, since we both considered our selves as equal when we played. but still, i find that if you don thave a + after the M is just makes a pussy. i guess its just my way of thinking. but i put the M+ there just to warn people, i hate it when newbies come in my games and get slaughtered, no contest...

Well how else are people supposed to get better? One doesn't learn from playing the same people the same way over and over again, especially if those people don't know anything.
Thrawn and I have played quite a few games now and I've learned more losing to him every time than I have playing a truckload of Ns. (Kind of like IRC protocols and bots.)

you move up through ranks gradually. you cant just go for the best people right off the bat, or you'll lose all the time and wont learn a thing. you fight poeple with the same skill as you do until you get better, then you fight them, and so on, and so on, and so on. its always worked that way for me.

Very true Tripps. Most people learn by playing or observing those who are better or more experienced. How do you think schoolteachers work? They think of us all as inferiors (well, maybe not) but they still work to enhance our knowledge. So think of yourselves as teachers helping out those who are poorer at the game. Not only will you make competition for yourself but you will also feel good.
After any game I play. I wait to see if the opponent wants to talk or ask questions. Most ask how I attacked so fast or how I did that 'thing'. And I try to answer their questions so that they can become better and come back and give me a run for my money.
So THATS what those are for! I couldn't figure out what all the letters meant hehe.

I consider myself an M. I tend to lose against the same people: Thok (although I have equalled him since), and a few others whom I can't remember. Sorry. Therefore, they are Ms as well, M+ if they continuously beat me.
