Pop-pop runs slowly on my comp

Well, I just downloaded Pop-pop on my computer (Quicksilver G4 867Mhz, 1.5 GB RAM, GeForce 2 MX, Mac OS X 10.1.2). Since I decided that full-screen mode looked very ugly because of the small resolution, I set it to window mode (my resolution is 1280x1024). Unfortunately, it moves very, very, very slowly in window mode. It takes about 15 seconds for it to recgonize taht I have moved the mouse. The cursor itself leaves a dark blue box wherever it was. When I manage to actually click "play", the "pop" animation takes so long that I have yet to see it end.

WTF is wrong? Whatever shall I do?

its because when your in pop, it pauses all background processing. (i think) so when you turn pop to window, the processor is grinding more on the acutal OS and background apps than the game.

just run it in full screen, its better, and your not squinting at the small screen.

I can't. It would take, by my guess, over an hour to get through the animations and severe mouse lag.

I have my doubts about your explaination. I run Demois Rising in window mode all the time and no such thing happens. If anything, it runs better.

Hmmm.. that's strange. It ran fine that way on my dual 533mhz GeForce 2 MX...maybe the problem is with your computer...

Try adding some memory to the game. Maybe just don't run background apps.

There are several things that could be going wrong, confilicts ect.. I will see what I can think of when I get home

I can run Unreal Tournament on minimal settings (basically in everything) and run it in a window, getting about 2-8 fps less than full screen, assuming I have correct memory. Although this is an odd problem, I'm assuming more memory would make it better, dunno what if it doesn't...
