Mac OS 9.0.4 Resolution 1152 x 870
Never had another Ambrosia title do this, but the first time quitting pop-pop scrambled all the icons on my desktop. Looks like the game hits the Finder at 640 x 480 -- repositioning everything -- before snapping back to my selected res.
There's a workaround, switching to window mode (Command-F) prior to quitting, but I'll surely forget that from time to time. Hope a better solution is practical.
Get an AppleScript 'program' called Destop Icon Manager from (url="http://"http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=1193&db;=mac")here.(/url) Set all of your icons where you want them, then use the program to save their location. Play pop-pop as often as you want, then simply run the program again and it'll restore all of them (that were saved; any new icons between the last save and when you run it won't be remembered) to their original locations. I use it all the time, because I have all of my icons saved in particular locations down at the bottom of (url="http://"http://imagery.evula.net/desktop.jpg")my desktop.(/url)

Alot of programs do that, specialy if your screen is normaly that large and it switchs to 640 x 480, easy work around it turning the icon arrangement on the desktop as "keep arranged" this will keep everything lined up on the right side always.

Wow, are you guys fast. Thanks, good tips.
The only other time I run into this is from running Extensions Off and now I'm DIM-protected from that headache. NowMenus still runs under 9.0.4 (dies with 9.1 or newer) and handles most res/depth situations, but that's convenience (though needed for a few old apps liking less than 256 colors) and Ambrosia titles have never needed an assist.
Again, thanks.
