The pictures in the bricks

So what exactly do they mean? If I recall correctly, the help feature didn't help me much with this.

So, do they affect when the bricks go down? Or what powerups / powerdowns you will get?

The icons in the bricks mean absolutely nothing. I asked the very same question when I first joined the beta testing team. I actually thought if I got a certain number of the same bricks with identical icons in them - I would get a particular power up.

Nope.

Let's just say the graphics for the bricks were done early, and changing them at the later stage was not a priority. They're just candy coating - a pleasing thing to look at instead of plain bricks.
