OK Here's an Idea- Pirate vessels that can steal resources from your race. They have a PK Beam Cannon (Ishiman Version), A Lightwave Pulse Reactor (Astrominers) and a stealing beam that reduces the resources of whatever player the weapon targets. They are not owned by any player but are randomly created from invisible sprites at the edges of the maps. When I have done this I'll post it up as an addon file but I need a pirate ship graphic. If anyone has any Ideas/Suggestions, reply, and I'll put up my email if anyone has any good pirate ship sprites.

Now that's an interesting Idea. Best be careful though - wierd things can happen when player resources go negative.

I pretty much get Hera but 1 Question: How can you make things belong to no player, like 'The Beast' in the Plug 'Fighter Haven'?
P.S. Good to see you here, Slug
My Email is Alistair_<MISTAKE>Lynn@BTConnect.com
When typing that in, leave out the <MISTAKE>, I leave that so that Email Bots can't pick it up.

To make an object not belong to the Player (player 0) or Computer (player 1) but be hostile to both, simply assign it to either player 2 or player 3 (Yes, the ares engine can support up to 4 players, but I think only 0 and 1 can build. Can't remember - It's been a long time)
(project on HOLD until Pirate Graphics are found)

Dejŕ vu There's that tumbleweed again...!
------------------ Oh, so it is another bug hunt then...
Don't be so crude.
It's pretty much finished, apart from the graphic.
LOL, sorry about that, couldn't resist it!
Roll on the plug
Players 3 and 4 can build, like in the hidden DEV-23 scenario which has 2 computer AIs.
Zerbilites are Player -1, which can't build.

Hmmm, interesting that you mention this, it is something that I cannot get to work in my current plug (it's pretty much what is delaying it). The player 3 or 4 planets simply don't build anything... Any ideas?
You have 2 days before I use the Mal graphic Skyfox gave me. 2 Days. P.S. If I was a moderator, Skyfox, you'd get a Karma Praise. Unfortuntaely I'm not, and you won't.

Too late. I'm using Skyfox's graphic for the plugin. It's being submitted now.

Erm, in the description you've got, it says 'ever wanted a sprawling PIRATE in your levels?' Is that actually want you want it to say? Just doesn't seem to make much sense, is all.
------------------ Rabbit, whered you put the keys, girl.
Sprawling? My ---ing brother uploaded the file. Decapitalise it and remove 'Sprawling', please, Laguna.
Um, the pirate ships don't do anything except ahng around their entry point! Do they have any special needs in terms of instructions or the like? Also, you forgot to tell the reader to use ResEdit to transplant the cool pirate ship sprite into the scenario where it's going to be used.
They do? I suppose it's only a beta version then. I dunno, my version of Ares is corrupted so I'm playing thisall by ear. Thanks for the bug report!
