Ok, here's the deal. Pesimist Guy and I are working on The Silent Ruins of Earth, an EVO/N plug. Now I, having had a fair amount of Hera experience, have started porting it to Ares.
This is pretty much going to have to be a totaly from-scratch TC. The only things from the origional game that will appear in any form are the explosions, and the Conculsive Pellet Gun. Any advice?

I believe Axis Software Integrated is likewise making an Ares TC. That has been going for a long time now, so making this one would be practically duplicating their efforts.

He's talking about porting his TC to ares, not porting ares to Nova like ASI is doing.

I am. The weapons are mostly ported, and I'm starting the ships. The only thing I'm having trouble with is making a non-turrented non-kenientic beam.
