Hi everyone. I'm making a new scenario for Ares: The Final Conflict. I would really apreciate it if people could either make some ship graphics for me or point me to some or someone who could. I don't mind using graphics that are in other scenarios, since all of them are of races that already exist in the game. I have no scenarios released for Ares yet, but both Challenger and a pack of Web Levels I made are in beta testing and I've released several plugs for EVO.
The Story:
After the liberation of Earth and the destruction of several Cantharan Gate Ships, the Order was starting to lose ground. After several fierce, bloody battles, the Salrilians withdrew from the alliance and took the Audemedons with them. They currently maintain an extreemly uneasy peace with the Humans, who became strong allies with the Obish. However, when we started conquring Cantharan and Gatori worlds that were never ours, the Ishimans became uneasy, wondering if we would turn out just like the Cantharns. However, after helping the Baldanize, they convinced the Ishimans to simply withdraw from the alliance for us. With the Obish, we then proceded to reduce the Cantharans and the Gatori to a few fleeing renegade fleets. But the Cantharans and the Gatori were still alive, and very mad at the Ishimans, who they both blamed for thier falls. With a fierce surprise attack with lightning speed, they caught the Ishimans off guard and quickly conqured nearly all of Ishiman space, enslaving the Ishimans. The Ishimans turned to us, as we were still the Cantharans princilpe enemy, and begged us to help them. There were still many hard feelings in the human race about the Ishimans withdrawing from our allinace, and on top of it the Salrilians threatened to break the non-agression pact if we responded to the plea. But the fact still remained that we owed everything to them, and the choice wasn't a hard one at all. Despite Salrilian threats, you find yourself setting out for ishiman space in much the same order that your grandfather set out for human space so many years ago.
Now a list of graphics I need:
Schooners for: Gatori, Obish, Human, Salrilian, Audemedon Heavy Cruisers for: Gatori, Salrilian, Audemedon, Human Gunships for: Obish Heavy Destroyers for: Obish, Elejeeton Motherships(Huge carriers with better weapons): Ishiman, Cantharan, Gatori, Obish, Salrilian, Human, Audemedon Battleships: Ishiman, Cantharan, Gatori, Obish, Salrilian, Audemedon, Human Engineering Pods: Human, Salrilian, maybe Audemedon Gate Ships: Salrilian, Gatori Other: Axis(giant station - like the size of the Cantharan Gate Ship, and graphics of several large pieces of it on fire for an effect I'm going to use for it's destroy sequence)
I know this is a lot - that's why I'm posting this as I'm beginning the programming. Even if you could just do 1 or 2, I'd like to hear from you. Maybe if everyone contributed just a little if could all get done.

A lot of "advanced" ships (Obish Destroyers, etc) are being worked on by AxisSlugsoft. Unfortunately, I doubt they'd be willing to share, at least until their (somewhat huge) Ares plug is released.

Well, I would like to help, but my 3D skills are less than probably anyone else here. However, I think that once someone releases a plug with new graphics, they should allow for the graphics to be used by other people to achieve a sort of continuity between the plugs.

Good point. Maybe I should e-mail the makers of a bunch of different plugs. What is there? Obish vs. Elejeeton, The Iorn Fist... Any others with graphics that match the ones I need?
Well if you want the Obish and Elejeetian ships i have put them on the add-on files section.
