Does anyone know of a full character list that i can download for pog?
Do you meen for the main character? I can tell you right here its a rnger, swords men, and mage. But if your talking about NPCs then i wouldn't know.

also how do you use the shovel?
I don't believe anyone has compiled a full list of all the characters in PoG. There are a lot of them. Some have very minor roles and we never learn their names, but each town has quite a few persons to meet.
The shovel can only be used by a Ranger to dig down to the nearest termite tunnel allowing fast transportation to other parts of the kingdom. Sometimes the shovel breaks before you can reach the tunnel so you might want to carry a spare shovel or two.
