i'd still say that my fav ship is ish hvd. it has missiles, good beam weapon and has that long range plasma thingy, which is good for "sniping"

If it had heavier shielding, mine would be the Gaitori Destroyer. hands down. At long range, the guided missiles are killer At medium range, that fullerene-thingy is a slaughterer At point-blank range the pellet gun is a devestator (does as much damage as a magneto pulse, fires faster, has only slightly shorter range, and is one of the few instant-hit weapons in the game)

I would have to say the Ishiman Heavy Destroyer is my favorite. Sure, there are more powerful things, but the Heavy Destroyer just plain rocks.
The ship you get in level 20 of solo play. now if only I can figure out what the secondary weap is on that thing...

Heh... Just so ya know, Audie carriers aren't all that great, when compared to the rest of their ships. Ya can build 2 of their gunships or 4 of their cruiser for the same price, and gunships have firepower like an hvd, and cruisers are confusing, and it ends up being that the guy who builds a carrier in multiplayer loses...
And Ishiman HVDs aren't the best ones...
But I agree with ya on the other two.

I believe that you all are greatly confused in picking your ships as favorites. It is obvious that the bet ship in the game is the... DEFENSE DRONE!
Great shielding for it's size, and packs almost the same whollop as the heavy cruiser!
All right, I was just joking there. My favorite ship is really the Axis Fighter. I believe that speed is the ticket in ares, and any fight could run circle around most other ships. Nof said...
