I try to register Pillars of Garendal.
I used the application "Register" from the game folder last friday.... and I'm still waiting for the registration code.
Is this delay normal?
(I'm used to register games or utilities from Ambrosias, and I never waited so long.... holidays? WWDC in Los Angeles?)

Hi remyleroy. Welcome to the boards. This weekend was a national holiday in the United States equivalent to your Bastille Day. Most businesses were closed through yesterday. That's only half of your answer. Registrations for PoG are closed until the problems with the newer operating systems are worked out. Ambrosia staff are working on fixing the bugs in Coldstone (which built the game) and then on the game itself.
Please be patient. The game is worth the wait. ~RD

thanks a lot for this quick reply....
Sorry, I didn't realised that last week-end was the 4th of July !
For the second part of your answer, my son plays PoG in the Classic environnement, where it runs just fine.
Could you send him a registration code to allow him to access the part of the map where he can't go in the demo mode (the lumberjack camp (Gwyden Camp?) by example...)
Thanks a lot

I sympathize with your predicament, but unfortunately this will not work. The codes are set up so that one cannot share them with anyone else. They include the persons name and date registered. If I were inclined to send someone my code, it would say that the code is out of date even if I gave them my name. There is not much you or your son can do about this. I'm sorry.
Sorry Ducky... I thought you were someone from Ambrosia.
What I was asking for was a personnal registration code, accorded to the name I gave with my creditcard number... not YOUR personnal code.

Not possible. Ambrosia is sending out NO new codes for PoG or Coldstone, until the bugs are fixed. Try again in the fall; there is no way to legally register it right now.

It's really a pity that one can't buy a registration code anymore (or at least until the bug with Panther are resolved).
The game is running just fine in the Classic Environnement, and I would agree buying it for its full price, even with this limitation.
My son has currently enough time to play it (summer holidays), and this could not be the case anymore next fall (due to his school homeworks...) (:-(

Send an e-mail to help@ambrosiasw.com explaining that you are aware of the limitations, but that you are running in classic and have experienced no problems. Explain that you would like to purchase the game with the knowledge that it has some problems to it.
The aforementioned e-mail address will put you in touch with Ambrosia's tech support and all around great guy, Mr. David Dunham. He may or may not be willing to allow you to purchase a code for this software, as it is closed to the public pending bug fixes. But if anyone can help you, he is the one that can do so.
Give it a shot and hopefully he'll say yes.

Thank you for you sympathy....
It's exactly what I have done after receiving the email stating that any purchase of PoG has been postponed.
But I have no answer for the time being.
Yeah.... back from a 3 week holiday, I've just found a mil from Ambrosai with a registration code for POG.
Many thanks to every body at Ambrosia's
