I'm in the cave N/W of the Crypt. When I get to the gate, it goes to the next screen. I can see blue feet, then it crashes and I'm thrown out the game. I've tried about 4 times and everytime I enter that gate it crashes. Don't know if it's conflicting with Damsels or not. It shouldn't. Bummer... Don't know what's causing this. :frown:

What is supposed to happen is this: As you approach the gate you get a warning that the plugin will transport you to a room beyond the Guardian's chamber. Then, with the next step, before you reach the gate, you are teleported to the place with the Pillar's toes.
From what you have said (seeing blue feet) it seems as if you are entering the Guardian's chamber. The other possibility is that you have "UberGaurdian" installed. Damsels in Distress will not work with UberGaurdian and the ReadMe states this conflict. I hope this is the case and further hope that you have a saved game shortly before you went there. If so, de-select UberGaurdian and re-approach the gate. Has your character ever been in the Guardian's chamber on an earlier playthrough?
Please let us know what is happening.

Never thought of that. Thank you, I'll go see if I have that installed. I do know I've not gotten the message on Damsels. Will let you know....
That did the trick! I didn't know I even had that plug in on. R.D, Thank you, that was a really fun plug in. Gidolean is cool! I'll probably turn off Damsels and finish the game then go south and fight Sea Giants. What else can retired heroes do when their job is done...
I hope eventually to purchase Coldstone. With Coldstone, could one build a seach/quest game inside Gidolean?

You are most welcome. Thank you for the kind words (and the only real activity on the PoG forum in a while. ) If you finish the game you won't be able to go back and punish Sea Giants. I suggest you keep this character going, with or without DiD. If you haven't played Spells Expander, and the extension, World of CHa0s, with a conjurer, I think you're in for more fun there.
I hope Coldstone comes back for sale soon. It is being worked on to make it compatable with newer operating systems. And yes, you could build a seach/quest game or plugin inside Gidolan Keep. There are more plugins being slowly developed. There are many like myself who do not want to see this game die. ~RD

I'm with you. I love this game. I downloaded the demo for Coldstone, and I think I'm in love! I think plugins could rule! I was even thinking of developing a place that is made up of pixies/fairies that are under siege. Maybe being assaulted by "biker bears" that's what the "kobalts(?) look like. I could really get silly and create little teddy bears and have "The Kingdom Of Little Bears". Well, enough, my mind is working overtime! I will keep my eyes open for any updates on Coldstone and probably in the next couple of week purchase it.
