I need help, I can't find the potion the elf is asking for after getting the tooth and the shield from the witch. Any ideas where the thing might be? Please try not to spoil anything else than just that.. I enjoy this game a lot!

Regarding the potion: You will need to go to and explore a dangerous area that only a few, highly skilled men can take you to. To get them to take you there, you must do something to earn their trust.
Regarding the shield, "go west young man, go west and grow up with the nation".

Berglum. I think you might have to search in the Learning Tree for "magical herbs" and then search for one of the results before the quest becomes available, but I can't remember.
The guy you seek in Berglum is near the water (only fitting, given his job).
Talk to Emilius again. You need access to the highest level of the learning tree before you can get this one.

Hi Seldane. You have me a bit confused. At one point Orobas, the elf, asks you to get the Tome of Elixirs. A tome is a large book, an encyclopedia of sorts, in this case about elixirs or potions, if you will. At another point Orobas asks for some magical herbs, which presumedly would be used to make such a potion. Nowhere does he ask for you to bring him a potion.
The semi-cryptic answers above are making certain assumptions which I'm not sure are on the right track. What is it you need to find? If you are in doubt, check your task list or quest journal. When we know what you really need, we can nudge you in the right direction.

Yes, yes of course.. It was the Tome of elixirs.. I thought it was some elixir the guy was talking about.. Anyway, how do I get this? I saw that it was supposed to be in some woods.. But WHERE are those woods?

You will have to travel north, all the way north, and climb a mountain. But there are obstacles in the path. You must first achieve access to the top of the Learning Tree. When you finally get there, explore the caves under the ancient city of High Garendall. (HINT) Avoid, for the moment, a cave you will pass on the way there. (/HINT)
what is in that cave? i thinkk i went in and beat up all the enemies. did it have 2 dead knight inside it?

The caves that Seldane needs to find do not have any Death Knights in them. The other cave does, but there are more than two.
