Vague hint: South of the Bridge over the River Tearos.

Less vague hint to follow:

(It might be a bit of a spoiler, so consider yourself warned.)

If you are at the Plains of Endless Wind Tunnel entrance, you goal is more-or-less east of you.

For a very good directions of how to get where you need to go (read: a spoiler), click (url="http://"http://stark.evula.net/pogwalkthrough.htm#lt4")here(/url).

Try searching in the far north.

If you want a bigger hint, RD gave one in (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum61/HTML/001549.html#")this(/url) topic.

Stark's Walkthrough, which I gave a link to in an earlier post, gives big spoiler (read: directions so thus a spoiler).
