Hello, vir55. Welcome to the boards. Loogor's cave is very hard. The Swordsman needs to have stamina (health points) of about 400, strength of about 400, and dexterity of 100+, and lots of filters of healing (30 or more) to get through easily. He should be at about level 25. It can be done with less than that, but not easily.
You can buy some Stone Potions at the Swordsman's Guild to help you through. Here are some tips I have used: When you make a little progress into the cave, go back to the entrance and save your game. Then if you get killed, when you try again your Awareness skill will show you where the monsters are. Remember that when you get through to the other side, you have to get home again, so bring a gatestone with you so you don't have to fight those creatures twice in a row.
You may have to go somewhere else for a while to build up your stats. Good luck! ~RD

By any chance do you have Spells Expander? You can get the Courage blade from the swordsman's guild and it gives a big boost to one of your stats when you wield it. And what weapon are you using? You should try to get a better one before you work on building up strength.

What I've found easiest is to RUN LIKE HELL the first time through so you can get the lay of the land and can thus see enemys with awareness if you have that. In succeeding times, though, it's important not to fight for long. If you stay in one place you'll get killed almost definitly. The only creatures that are easy to kill are the ice demons(not to be mistaken for the midgets that look like blue rock imps), and even then only if you are level 22 or higher. I was able to get through with a level 22 ranger and then narrowly escaped(1 health as I exited the cave :eek: )
