That's probably the hardest way to get to his place and of course he's mad at you. He picked that place because he didn't want to be disturbed. The easiest way to get to see him is to find someone who knows him and can provide a way for you to get there. Once you have met the old grouch, however, your going to need a little help softening him up. Is there someone else who might put in a good word for you? Perhaps someone who owes you a favor?

aha! thanx. I still don't understand one thing though: why do I only have the option to use blink still to get to that secluded area where Bernard is ??... (I decided to get the OTHER spell from F, the portal one)
