LifeKnight, some players like to discover the game as it unfolds. I think you tend to give more information in many of your posts than the person is asking for. The player should be self-reliant if just pointed in the right direction. If you do no more that just answer the question, they will ask if they need more help. If the question is already answered, there is no need to expand on it. Perhaps s0me 1 01 had fun looking at a hugh pile of gold coins. He came by it easily enough and got out of there alive. I'm sure he was capable of learning what a pommel stone is. He didn't need you to look it up for him. And now you're itching to tell him what's on the other side of a river. Maybe you wish to sit down and write the Damsels in Distress Walkthrough. I have my reasons for not wanting to do so. One reason I do not stress using the search feature on some of these questions is that too much information is already exposed.
In another thread, you brag about reaching the Mage Tower using a cheat you built yourself. Well congratulations, but that doesn't help him any. Please consider the player's right to enjoy the game in his own way.
P.S. I would have e-mailed you about this (you say I have your address) but I don't keep a lot of old e-mails clogging up my storage space. You may e-mail me if you have a problem with anything I have said here. I feel no inclination to discuss it further on this forum.

Well the problem is she won't give me any directions or hints. Ive gone back two or three times and she just says that i must convince loogor to reforge the sword before she makes any deals with me. with further exporation, I managed to cross the river (for you amateurs out there I won't disclose the location) but I can't defeat the cave monsters nor cross the river on the other side. Any help?

Ouch, that is very hard to do. What I did is I used a few Spells Expander spells (they don't ever run out when you're on DiD maps), and ran all the way through it. I never want to do that again, but I know I have to to get back..

Ok. I know from your earlier posts that you are playing as a Ranger with Trinity loaded. You are in a tough spot, but it is doable. There are several ways to approach this. You can use your Ranger skills and stock up on Poison and Hard Shell powder. You can invest in many Filters of Healing (which actually should be Philters of Healing.) You can try to outrun as many creatures as you can. Or, (and I don't know what level you are) level-up to increase your stamina. This means taking the time to fight some other guys for a bit. A level 25 Ranger is about where you want to be. Then too, you can visit Kalixia and buy some more Elixirs of Strength. I am assuming you have equipted yourself with the Great Wolf Claws, Boots of Armand, and a Lilith Shield.
One hint here, have a gatestone in inventory (to anywhere) because once you find Loogor, you're going to have to get back somehow. Good luck. (And wear an extra sweater. )
Right now my ranger's at level 21 with over 100 strength . I guess I'll take a day off at the cyclops coast for a total massacre of the cyclops population with the help of some shell powder.
Tip: Once you are more powerful, head over to Reefs Island and runa around a little. The Liliths aren't too hard, and they give 1000 exp. per kill. Plus, they give good drops, and the occasional valued Lilith shield. The Island is a good place to level up, and you will need it, since you are going to be making more than one trip through the ice cave before you complete your quest (as you might know by now). Also, keep the Great Bow of Vyro handy while going though the ice cave. It can shoot at nasties without pointing at them, and it does some good damage. Excellent weapon.

Thank god I made it through that cave alive!!! took a few tries but I did it! 2nd time through (to give Loogor the supplies)I was lowered to 2 health out of 390 (EEP!!)right before I got out. Big releif no evil goblins right out side the cave. But it was worth it. Diabolus is freakin' powerful!

Yes, these are all excellent tips. Thanks, LifeKnight. Bows can also shoot through obstacles if you can hide behind them.

I'd say that's cutting it pretty close, glad you made it. Was this as a level 22 Ranger?
Yes I was a level 22 ranger. had to run through the cave more than a few times. I saved at a couple points in the cave so I wouldn't have to go back to the beginning. the ice imps there are like sea-giants except midget size :). After I completed Diabolus I went for some Lillith hunting as you suggested Lifeknight with some shell powder. Now I'm At level 24. I went to the gaurdian cave thinking there may be a side cave in there that led to Ratznest but I came across yer warning RubberDucky. The Devil was pretty hard.

Actually Ice Imps are a lot less strong than Sea Giants but they do have a nasty streak in them.
By the way, we try not to mention the name of the red guy here. I can't edit your post and you can't edit it until you are a registered member. Perhaps I could talk you into registering now?
It seems that some 1 01, or some other member with the same name, is registered, as the name appears in the Who's Online page from time to time. But when I try to access the member profile, it says "This account has been closed down, profile inaccessable" How can he be logged in if the account doesn't exist?
