I've killed everybody in troll central that are enemiest and i ahve talked to Jimmy, he said he opened the trap door and it will come back on in a couple minutes. i get to where the trapdoor is in less then 30 seconds but it still won't let me over the trap door. i just fall through. and it talkes me forever to kill those elite gaurds because i am a conjourer and don't have good armor/weapons. I know i need to get over since the hilt is over there(i saw it while falling)and tons of money/elixers/potions.

Please check that you are using version 1.1 of (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl/damsels.sit?path=pog/addons&file;=damselsV1.1.sit")Damsels in Distress.(/url) There was a flaw in version 1.0.1 which prevented the plugin from setting correctly if the player left the area before finishing all the steps. Replace the plugin folder with the later one and the trap door will be set the way it should.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience you had. ~RD

I just downloaded the second version of DiD, but while turning it into a folder it says"unknown Error 3" and it doen't work as a download.

Could you elaborate? Does Stuffit Expander give this error message? What version of Stuffit Expander are you using? Have you tried redownloading?
------------------ Clones are people two. If UPS and Fed-Ex merged, would they be Fed-Up? A man who's out to save Gidolan Keep, flies an Auroran ship, and hacks into computers to keep the bricks from falling past the line of destiny? Yep, that's me!
I have also just downloaded another copy and everything worked just as it should. The "unknown error" seems to be with your Stuffit Expander. Thunderforge has just asked the key questions here. Let's get to the bottom of this so we can get a solution for you.
I have stuff-it version 8.0, i have downloaded DiD 1.1 atleat twice and stuffit says"unable to expand archive", then where the folder was going to be placed," then Engine error: unknown error3"

I believe that this problem also occurred with Spells Expander and World of Cha0s. The solution was to compress the plugin with Stuffit v. 8.0 (which, until yesterday, was only available for Windows). So, Rubber Ducky, it looks like you need to compress DiD with Stuffit 8.0. I suppose that it's also a good excuse to upload your plugin with problems fixed like Sterling's extra hats.
EDIT: A quick search showed me that (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum61/HTML/001322.html")this topic(/url) was where this problem was first reported. ------------------ Clones are people two. so does that me that i need to wait for a while until RubberDucky compresses it and makes it a new version, or what?

That is the problem, and it has affected downloads of many things aside from DiD. A quick search on this forum for "Stuffit" produced much information about it. One such thread:

You'll have to . . . . downgrade your stuffit to version 7.5.**
I think all the plugins will work with Stuffit Expander 7.5

Or, you can just compress DiD with DropStuff 8.0, like Stark did for SE.
Then how do I downgrade to stuffit7.5?

I have just downloaded 8.0 and I'll see what I can do to get a new version up. It won't happen in the next five minutes because if I'm going to put up a new version, I need to make some corrections first. ~RD
Okay. thanks RD and ThunderForge for helping me out, and thanks RD for a awesome plugin(the best one besides trinity)

Glad to help. Although Spells Expander is a pretty good plugin too (it really makes the Conjuror class what it should be).

I'm glad you like it.
Thunderforge is right, Spells Expander is excellent.
Now for the bad news: I found out that Stuffit 8.0 only works with OS X and I'm still using OS 9.2. But I do have an address for downloading an earlier version of (url="http://"http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html")Stuffit Expander.(/url)

I think that (url="http://"http://www.stuffit.com/win/expander/index.html")this link(/url) would suit our Windows friend, KrazyKid, better.
EDIT: Nevermind. The page takes you to Stuffit 8.0 for Windows and you cannot download the earlier version. So it looks like you have to wait. EDIT2: A bit of reading on Aladdin's site shows that Stuffit 8.0 Deluxe is available for Mac, but Stuffit Standard and Stuffit Expander are only available for version 7.0.3. All three are available for Windows in version 8.0. ------------------ Clones are people two. If UPS and Fed-Ex merged, would they be Fed-Up? A man who's out to save Gidolan Keep, flies an Auroran ship, and hacks into computers to keep the bricks from falling past the line of destiny? Yep, that's me!
But that link puts you back to version 8.0 :frown:
Edit: I see you caught it too. ------------------ My Doctor said I was having too much wine, women, and song - so I gave up singing because 2 out of 3 is not so bad. Well Rubber Ducky, it looks like you have a few options. You can upgrade to OS X and hope that by that time, Stuffit Standard 8.0 comes out (so that you can compress it for free with DropStuff). You can download Stuffit Standard 8.0 for Windows and compress it with DropStuff on that platform. Or you can ask somebody on a Windows machine with a decompressed version of DiD to compress it using DropStuff.
so pretty much, i just have to wait for a long while, right?

Unless somebody on a Windows machine with an uncompressed DiD compresses it with Stuffit 8.0, then yes. Or maybe Rubber Ducky could e-mail you an uncompressed version of DiD (why didn't I think of that before!).
EDIT: Perhaps this problem could also be avoided by using .zip format. (Don't know why I didn't think of this either). ------------------ Clones are people two.
