A person doesn't give it to you.
It is the sole quest that you give yourself.

Then where is the quest?

Hint: Listen to the rumors. One of them will help you get the quest, and one will help you finish it. I won't say any more right now.. think, young Padawan!

I always think that plain tell all walkthroughs give everything away. Stark's Walkthrough, although it doesn't describe the Earth Friend Quest, does give you enough clues to solve the puzzle. And so does the other topic of yours about the Staff of Lordship.
EDIT: Stark, I knew I was on the right track! Aside from my problem that Coldstone gave me, it seems that I have found it at last! ------------------ Clones are people two. Does this mean you still need me to write you the fixer plugin?
Okay, I've listened to all of the rumors that the Mage in the tower says, at first i thought it was the guy falling into a sand pit one, but i searched all of the Plains of Endless wind and couldn't find a sand pit to fall in.
Then i search around Berglum, for the missing knights and any one who could give me hints about then, but didn't find anything.
the green monsters coming out of the sea and attacking Gidolan Keep is just the sea giants attacking.
the rumor about the mage coming out of a coma i don't get.
the learning tree tome is just Pandora's box.
the mage in dernath is the faylasee(sp.) guy with the portal tomes.
the stone giants, i have tried to find them but can't.
the archmage, i forget his name, planing something big, i can't find any thing about that rumor.
I might be missing a few of the rumors, but i still can't find anything about a earthfriend or secret cave or hiden passage, that leads to the quest.
i need more hints please
So, Stark, could we post the rumour he's missing? :cryptic grin:

Okay, hmm.. the place you start the quest you've been to before (if you've finished the other quests), and it's new to Spells Expander. There is a rumor that discribes it. Also, there's one that doesn't refer to any place, and it seems to make no scene at the time.
That help more?

I sent an e-mail back to you saying that I didn't have the money to buy Coldstone, thus I could not create the fixer plugin even if you did give me instructions or the SE source. So, I do need the fixer plugin if you can create it.
BTW: For all who are reading, I encountered a problem which prevented me from getting the Staff of Lordship. It involves the (extremely evil) globals bug in Coldstone. I asked Stark if he could make a plugin which would solve the problem by letting my character do something if I pressed a key, thus solving the problem.

KrayzKid, if it's not obvious yet, nobody is going to give this one away on the boards here. They wouldn't dare show their face here afterward if they did. The only kind of thing you will get are very broad hints like "If you don't see a solution in front of you, look within."
You have tried chasing down some potential clues (as we all did before you) but what haven't you tried yet? Ah, therein lies a problem. It's always easier to know what has been done than to know what hasn't been done.

Hint: The rumor which starts the quest is in the list of rumors you posted. Another hint: That rumor does not exactly "start" the quest. You need to have finished all the other quests in the plugin before you can start it. If that did not make enough sense, good.
EDIT: There is something that should be cleared up. The Earth-Friend quest is not really a quest, but more of a ritual to summon the Staff of Lordship from the void (or whatever emptieness exists outside of the world of Darmyl. One could, however, consider <deleted to protect the secret of the Earth-friend>. ------------------ Boo! Did I scare you? No? BOO! How about now? Good!

Ditto--that was probably too much.
can someone just e-mail me the answer cause i can't seem to get it.
------------------ I don't have a signature.
I'll e-mail you a hint that's easier than what's on the board, but you'll still have to solve it. OK? ~RD

Sure.
As an added hint, when I was making the plug-in I was re-reading a series by Stephen Donaldson titled, "The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever." I highly recommend this series(though you should probably be in your mid teens or older; it is not exactly a children's series in my opinion) and it also should make a few things make sense. heh.

I don't see why that is giving too much away. It's pretty obvious that you need some sort of a spell to summon the staff, since only conjurers can get it.

I think that you just dropped another huge hint, LifeKnight.
