I made another ship for my TC, did everything the way I usually do it(render a quicktime movie of it spinning, use m2s, load the spin in EVONE in rle8 and rleD) But when I use the ship in the game, the turning is way off. It skips a bunch of frames in one part, and never points the way it actually is moving. The spin in EVONE looks perfect though. Whats wrong?
Can you try posting a copy of it? The only thing I can think of is, maybe, that you're not ordering the sprite correctly, i.e. from left to right, top to bottom, having the ship spin clockwise.
It could be related to the ship's turn rate, although I doubt it. Also, weapons affect this. If a ship has 48 frames and fires a 36 frame weapon, it will turn to what Nova calculates as the closes to the correct frame so that the ship is firing in the right direction. I think Nova compensates for this even if you aren't firing the weapon, based on experience with my Tongue Shuttle plug-in.
