Help with mission reset plug.

Hello there everyone. I'm experimenting around with making plugins for EV Nova, and I'm trying to make a plugin that reactivates the storylines, upon completion of the one you're currently on. In other words, now that I've completed the Vellos campaign, I'd like to play through one of the others with my same pilot.

My question is, what is it exactly that shuts down the various storylines? Which files do I need to be looking at?

Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I'm new here. Atleast this isn't my first plugin. 😄

Well, technically, what shuts down the storylines are the following bits:
b148 b323 b330 b331 b332 b333 b613 b6031 b9995 b9500
(or just about)

But in reality, you'll have to reset ALL bits set during a/the string(s) for the plug to work correctly.
So if you want to do it alone, then get the EVN Bits Bible and note every single bit in your plug

If you want the easy solution, download one of the many "restart" plugs.

Edit: by the way, welcome to the boards 😉

Well, I'm not realy sure which bits in particular do it, but you can go here and it show which bits are used for each particular mission in each storyline, so it might be of some assistance. (Check to see which bits are set when you complete the final mission for each storyline)

Hey, thanks. I'm afraid I've been without internet since I started this topic, but I've been digging into the game trying to get a better grasp on how this thing works.

I made a couple of plugins for the original EV, back when I still had Mac access. And I can now (not so) proudly say that I've forgotten everything I'd figured out the first time. Not that it would do me much good on this engine, mind you.

Once again, thanks. 😄
