I have been creating my own systems and governments for some reason I can not get the backround of the system on the map to change to any other color than black. I know I can change the starfeild differnt color that work what doesn't is the map like how the Feds are blue and the Rebs green, the Polaris purple and the Aurorans red. Oh and I am running Mac OS X 3.4, EVN 1.0.8 and I am using Mission Computer. I do have EVOne downloaded but I prefer Mission Computer.

The color that appears on the map showing the territories of the different factions is set in the government resource. It is by default set to black. To change it open the government resource in mission computer and click on the miscellaneous tab. There you will see a "Map colour" option. Just click on the color box and choose the color you want for that government.

Yeah, Iknow that part but it doesn't work I have set it to every color yet it does not transfer through to Nova. Thats what I am trying to fix anyone have any Ideas as to why that is?
Check the map screen in-game. You might have accidentally clicked on the 'Hide Borders' button on the map. I haven't messed around with the govt rescourse in a while, so other than that little first sentence, I can't help

Thank but it wasn't that. On another fourm some one pointed out that you have to uncheck a box or some thing that is not in Mission computer but is in Resedit with Nova tools.

0x0002 This govt is considered "minor" for the purposes of drawing the political boundaries on the map. 0x0004 This govt's systems don't affect the political boundaries on the map.
Make sure these two flags are not set.
