Cloaking Devices

Mine don't work. I don't know how to enter in those dang values so that I get everything straight. I suppose I could make a ship with 100 shields, 100 fuel, and fiddle around with the values until I figure something out, but I'd much rather not have to go through all that. Basically, when I try to enter in stuff like "44A" because the bible makes it sound like a flags thing. But, that doesn't work, because it wants numbers, not letters. And, sadly, that was the only system that made sense to me...

Help?

(edit) Dang. Someone already has something to help me with this. Darn, sucky search. Mods, delete this, please (/edit)

You are correct in that it is a "flags" thing. However, because NovaTools uses decimal values in the ModVal fields, you need to convert that hexadecimal value into a decimal one. In your case, 44A would be 1098, if I'm not mistaken. If you do a search, I recall there being a nice hex to decimal chart for the cloak values.
