I have run into a problem with the Travelstel field in Nova.
If I use the 10xxx code, I get the missions with nothing reported in the Debuglog. But if I change the code to 30xxx, I no longer get the missions, and the Debuglog reports that it could not find a valid stellar of government xxx.
Has anybody else tried some serious experiments with the use of classmates? I have run into what appear to be problems with them in several other instances.
------------------
Well, let's first check the basics, alright?
Quick things to look for: 1. The government you are using for 30xxx has at least 1 valid class entry (I've screwed this up- might want to double check). A government with no entries (all -1) won't even equate to itself.
2. At least one other government shares a class with the one above.
3. This other government owns a spob.
4. This spob does not exist in a syst with a visbit control.
However, since you said it works if you do a normal "this government" select (I use Novatools so I don't have these numbers memorized), I think only #1 should/could cause a problem such as you've described when you change it to 30xxx. Be sure to double check and make sure that 30xxx is the correct selector- if it's actually a "not classmate" or something else you might feel silly (done that too).
Now, finally, could you post the details of the two governments you are working with (particularly the class layout section- classes, allies, and enemies, please), that would help me/us alot in the debugging process.
Good luck!
