Rank salary question

Hey folks, I'm working on a plug-in where I want some ranks to have a negative salary. This works just fine, except that it doesn't get displayed in the player info box if the salary is negative. I would prefer if the player knew exactly how much cash they were losing on a daily basis. I know the engine displays net income/expenses when the player has hired escorts, but I haven't found a way to do this otherwise. Has anyone found a work-around for this? Or, maybe I'm just missing something obvious?

I have tried it, and it works. It says "Expenses:" I believe, but it does show up, so you're missing something.

It doesn't show if the only salaries you have are negative, but if you added a 1cr positive salary I think it should work. At least it shows if you have hired escorts, and adds the rank's salary to the expense of the escort. (I found this out when working on the 7th escort mrxak challenge. I wonder if he'll ever get around to judging it? hint hint :p)

I have mentioned that long time ago too - but Matt doesn`t seem to be interested to fix that.

Yeah, I just went back and read that topic from last summer. It seems this issue has been lost in the shuffle. (Since, two updates have come out since then). Thanks for the replies.

When I was still trying for the 7th escort TmC, I found that it did work. And I didn't have any positive salaries.

I have also used negative salaries on their own. It does show "Expenses" in the info box.

Ugh, I'm inclined to believe orca and Eugene, but I just don't see what it is I'm doing wrong. The rank seems like such a simple resource to use, not many fields and flags, and only 2 that relate directly to the salary. When I've tested it, I know the player has the rank, and I know the rank is working (taking away credits everyday), but it's just not getting displayed. Argh.
