I'm getting tired of trying to disable and board a ship to capture the captain and crew, only to have ships (such as Fed fighters/capital ships or Auroran ships) go in and blast my prey. What I'd like to have is some way to warn off all these "helpers" and let them know I'm after this particular ship and to "stay the heck away, 'cause he's all mine!"). Is there some way to implement this?

I've always fired a missile at them, then begged for mercy. This, of course, doesn't work with some governments.
