I am making an EVN plug on windows, with EVNEW (great program). But when I try to enter the syst I made, EVN exits suddenly. I have a debuglog, and cant find anything wrong with it. I could enter my syst just fine when there was no spob present, but now that I added a spob, the game exits. Quite a quick close too. It doesn't even finish the debuglog.txt.
Can someone please help me?

Simple: Nova for Windows doesn't handle custom systems. You'll have to wait for the next version.

That is odd...did you specify both the spöb in the sÿst and the sÿst in the spö?
Are you using an existing spöb?

Is there a field in the spob resource for this? I've never seen one, though I could be mistaken.
You might want to check on the graphic field for the spob, and make sure it is in the proper (0-255) range.

There's not a s˙st field in the EVN spöb resource. That's EV and EVO.

STraven: I know you're being sarcastic, but it wasnt too obvious. Make sure the graphic field for the spob is between 0 and 255 - otherwise that causes a crash about 50% of the time. Other than that: Open up your plug in EVNEW, then do Save As, and save it as a text file. Copy and paste the contents of that file in here. That will help us pinpoint the problem. -Az
