I am attempting to complete a new plug-in for EVN using EVNEW on Windows XP, and I keep hitting a snag. There are about three missions in my plug-in that I want the player to be able to choose whether or not to continue the story, but when I test my plug-in, every mission begins with a choice to go ahead with the mission or not. The problem is that I wanted the rest of the missions to be mandatory. I'm sure that it's something simple that's causing this to happen, but after staring at my screen for the last five hours I can't see it. Could someone please help me?

Are you saying you want to give the player a perceived choice, but in reality they must follow the missions anyway? Or do you mean the player can choose to skip the mission? For the fake choice make refusing set a bit for another mission which is identical and cannot be refused. To skip the mission, have refusing set the same bit as completion, that way they will skip straight to the next mission if they refuse. I hope that helps.

Basically I'm getting Yes and No at the bottom of each mission introduction and I don't want that. How do I get rid of it?

Everyone, please forgive me of my own stupidity. I've found a solution: simply check the box next to "Can't Refuse." It's something so simple even an idiot couldn't miss it.
Wait a minute... if a idiot couldn't miss, and yet I did... WHAT AM I?!
WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, it happened to every single one of us to miss an obvious thing like that. One mistake after another, and you will end up being a master of plug designing... if you do not give up before, that is.
