i am making a star trek plug-in, and am a third of the way done, or... i thought i was. while the photon torpedo tubes draw ammo from the photon torpedos, the quantums refuse to do so. (when you select the quantums, it says there is zero ammo left, even when i am carrying a full load of torpedos.) i have to set it to not use ammo in order to get it to work at all. and yes, i have checked all the numbers over at leat 20 times! i am stumped.
if anyone here has msn messenger, i can send them a copy to look at, but i am afraid the file size is too big for hotmail :frown:
can anyone offer some insight?

Could you email me the relevant resources from the two launchers (outfs and weaps), or post the settings you are using here? Ammo using weapons can be really annoying to set up. -Az

Yep, it does. Index #s start at 0, not 1, thus the index number of the weapon (what you want to have in AmmoType is RID-128, not RID-127, so it should be 109 not 110. (237-128=109). -Az Oh, and have you tried the classic windows theme? It looks cleaner and saves a few pixels of screen real-estate.

Sovereign is the starship class of the USS Enterprise-E, the ship featured in this part of the plugin. (once i have all three ships completed; the Sovereign, the Romulan Validore Warbird, and the Raemen Scimitar Warbird, I will fuse them together into one Plug-in) (for the most recent progress screenshots go to the "new plugin in the works" thread in the nova forums) just ignore hamsters post, the ones he posted were the original proof of concept, and not nearly as far along as i am now.

I don't usually nitpick, but I think it is quantum torpedo e s. And you can see the smilie is a bit buggy. It can work if you put (img)(/img) instead of , it will give you .

I do hope it was clear my comment about windows getting it right was a joke. I rather do like the windows interface better (KISS principle, anyone?), esp with MSVDM powertoy, but i think its pretty clear that nobody would claim that win95 got anything right (mabey winxp, which behaves like win95 should have). -Az
