No, there's none available. Who wrote the Mac -> PC converter? I suppose it would be fairly simple to modify the code to do the reverse, or even better, both ways (a la RezConv)...

Actually, there is a simple way to convert from pc back to mac. There is a program somewhere on the addons paget that does it. I can't remember the name right now, but I've found it before.

Neither RezConv nor David Arthur's converter work as advertized. RezConv only works on X. After spending most of a weekend trying to get X to run on my old mac, we gave up, and tried to make rezconv work on 9.2. We tried carbonlib 1.3. We tried 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 as well. None of them worked. We tried this with both Rezconv, and the version of RezConv that was supposed to work on 9. "OS 8.1 and up"? Yeah. Right. The other PC->mac converter complains that almost any .rez you feed it is invalid, even when they are known working plugins. Rumor has it David Arthur figured out what was wrong with his converter, but I havnt heard anything else about it. -Az, who is stuck bumming conversions off mac users, since his mac wont quite run X for rezconv

Hah. I used pure ResEdit, alpha-level w00tTools and some custom Ralph/Matt gear that's never seen the light of day, and never will (due to bugs and a horrid command-line interface).
Jason used ConText/ResStore and Excel to make mass adjustments, and nothing beats MishMash for editing huges numbers of dëscs.
You GUI people have it soft!!

Try a fresh install of 9.2 with CarbonLib 1.6. If you have both a good running copy of 9 and CarbonLib 1.6, ResConv should work flawlessly.

You GUI people have it soft!! ConText and ResStore really are awesome, and the desc spellchecker (NovaTools Words) was incredibly useful. Though they don't come around here anymore (That I've seen), R&R;++.
