has anyone made an extension of the wild geese storyline? it was my favorite of all the mission strings, but i was more than a little dissapointed that it was so short. not to mention the fact that it ends with you giving to the damn pirates. is there a better and longer storyline plugin somewhere out there? or if there isn't could someone please please PLEASE try to make one?

I don't know if any such plug-in already exists. However, I will point out that there are variations within the wild geese storyline so that it does not always end in the same way, so you might be surprised by playing it again.

heh, i might be able to make plugins... but i absolutely suck at story writing... and that basically is what a storyline extention would turn out to be...
and i know it doesn't always end the same way, but i call it giving in to the pirates wether or not you succeed in appeasing them... (i want to keep fighting them, or at least keep selling my services elsewhere...)

I think cdr may be right. Personally, i dont think that the WG string needs extention really. It's purpose is to lead into other storylines. However, what does need extention is the Pirate storyline. Its what, 1/3rd the length of most strings?
However, i am not the one to do it. I can't stand the nova setting or storylines for a wide variety of reasons. They're not bad to play in (though i have my problems with them), but they're horrible to develop for - Everything is so fleashed out and the storylines have such large and well defined impacts, that it's really hard to make a storyline that makes sense. Add to that the asinine way that they did the handling of the Auroran refusal (If you refuse Aur1, and then set bit 511, you get the second Aur mission if you land on Codec!) and propably a few other little things, and developing a new storyline for it is extremely hard to do well. I am directing my creativity towards my own TC, which will never be relesed or finished. -Az

Let me add something. After completeing the Wild Geese Storyline, I noticed that House Moash AND VELLA were bright red on the map. Something to think about for extendation?

Now fixed. I accidentally had the submit button outside of the form tag... Also, I changed the graphics, so that I wasn't stealing images from Andrew... I made my own, so it mimics the style of the Boards.
