For the last couple of months I have been working on a Total Conversion called Retribution with Azdara. Following is a little blurb from something I posted a while back:
...It has been only three hundred years since humanity made the jump to the stars, pushing out into the unknown void, but within those three centuries the once-fragile realm of humanity has already been polarized into three primary factions. While the galactic east was settled by the United Nations Interstellar Settlement Coalition and developed into a confederacy of sorts, the Western Realm, already burgeoning with populated worlds, began to split. Within the galactic west, a rift developed between the prosperous Core Worlds, settled during the first wave of western colonization, and the Outer Worlds, settled during the second wave. There was toil, strife, conflict...and from the ashes rose the Neo-Socialist Enlightenment, controlling the Outer Worlds, and the Free Nations of Sol, an alliance between the former Core Worlds. To the east, the UNISC initiative developed into the Enaratolian Confederation.
The evil Enlightenment rules with a fist of iron, but its genocidical actions conceal even more arcane secrets. The Free Nations of Sol stands steadfast against the Enlightenment; for the moment an uneasy peace rules. To the east is the Enaratolian Confederation, split between alliance with the Enlightenment, the Nations of Sol, or some other, deeper agenda. And between all of this, the Resistance fights to end Enlightenment depredation. Resistance officers believe they know the depths of Enlightenment evil, but they are sadly mistaken...
Into all of this you find yourself. You grew up upon a bleak Neo-Socialist Enlightenment industrial world, amidst decaying factory towers and abandoned slum sectors. Dirt and grime, danger amidst the ancient factories and antiquated equipment was all you knew; your only link to space were the Enlightenment freighters taking off and landing upon the distant elevated spaceport platform. But one day, you noticed smoke rising, the tinge of burning metal in the air. You ran up, horror-struck, to the service scaffold, only to watch in shock as the largest of the towering plants in your district burned, an inferno trapping over a thousand workers, including almost everyone you knew. The Enlightenment destroyed your whole community...it is now up to you to start your life anew- as your forcefully-repossessed freighter lifts into the darkening sky, you wonder what will will do. Perhaps discover more about the malevolent Enlightenment that destroyed everything you held dear, maybe even change the human realm....

Missions are about 1/6 done. Ships and weapons are all planned out. I have about 200+ pages of background information, etc. So...
I need graphics artist(s) for landing pictures and planets. One must be able to make cityscapes, natural scenes, and interior scenes and make scenes from descriptions. Experience is preferred. Post here or e-mail me if you may be interested; if I get enough interest I will set something up so that I can choose graphics artists. I will also be searching other sources.

Of course, we've known about your "other project" since you started working on SS... so I can't say anything. You and Starbridge both have something major on the side (it damn well better be ON THE SIDE, though! Heheh).
Anyway, too bad you can't get Psyg to do your planets... then you'd have the MAN! Durn Canadians and their floppy heads...
200 pages is a lot of info, though. How long have you been doing this project? About how many missions does 1/6 correspond to? One mission string? basic missions? I ask simply because this is info graphics people like to know. Durn fruity graphics people and their personality disorders....

It's as on the side as little big projects go :). I'll have something to ask you about when Retribution nears completion, so just keep that in mind.
I asked Psyg, but he politely declined for the same reasons as SS. Namely, he's working for some type of media development team. 1/6 of missions? Just over 50 pages of single-spaced, typed text in Times New Roman 12-point font. More than that in backstory, concept art, etc.
Where the heck did you get someone as good as Psyg, by the way?!

I sense a lack of interest. Should I come back and ask when I have everything done except for the planet and landing graphics, with a final version using Nova placeholders? Because if that is what it takes, that is what I will do.
I see your not getting many takers as yet. I am on a project now so I don't have oddles of time. Yet if I can offer some help your welcome to it. I may be a bit rusty on the graphics side but I am getting back into it as quick as I can.
If you get a better offer then take it but if you still need the help I will be glad to do what I can. I know you don't know my work but if you want a sample or something then contact me at my e-mail in my profile.

Well, I can make simple natural scenes, possibly with some cool effects...but my talents end there (besides editing clip art :p). That's all I have to offer (for now).
